Mark Laurent

plans

It’s been an uncertain time for the world, and as a performer it’s hard to plan ahead, not knowing whether gigs may fall over at short notice. I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to play so much for so long, so I’m not feeling ungrateful, and it seems like the best option for now is to put things ‘out there’ in forms that people can easily access wherever we are.

I’ve put together a ‘best of’ CD compilation, plus a 2 volume set of demos, which are available to stream or buy on Bandcamp. I’ve also compiled a lyric book of all my songs (around 200 of them) which I’d like to make available for free or koha (gift), though at this stage it’s a digital release only (PDF). My other - almost completed - project is an anthology of poetry from the last 45+ years, including several previously unpublished pieces. This will be in print, and probably digital as well. If any of this interests you please be in touch.

If you’d be interested in having me (or Brenda & I, or a possible band) do a concert, festival, church event, casual gig or whatever, I’m keen, so please send me an email.
